Mmmmmm. ...I know, we love chili over here. I make a huge pot of pasta sauce on day 1 with all the fixings (meat, peppers, onions, mushrooms) and have that on night one. For night 2 we add a whole pot of boiled dried beans and chili powder to the pasta sauce and simmer all day, having chili with cornbread for night 2. On night 3 we take what's left of the chili and make chili baked potatoes, which is exactly like it sounds a baked potato topped with chili, cheese, sour cream and bacon. I love to plan meals ahead it really saves time, money, and the dinnertime scramble (5 o'clock with 6 kids and no dinner cooked = CRAZINESS) lol.

Yum!!!! It's breakfast for dinner at our table tonight but I'm ready to take on some chilli. Chilli potatoes sounds awesome!! I'll give that a go too!!

I don't really eat pasta because of blood glucose but these guys do 3-4 nights a week. I just make a big huge pot of it every few weeks and freeze in portions.

I'll do the same with chilli because they don't like chilli. We are opposites attract over here. I add a lot to my chilli as well, peppers, mushrooms, onions, zucchini and I typically use navy beans instead of kidney beans. Slow cooker all day, I'll make some bread and I'll be a happy camper.

Is your corn bread gluten free?? I'd love the recipe when you have time.

Clearly you need to get lost and end up at the end of my driveway tomorrow. And since you're here anyways, might and we'll come on in and have some chilli
