Always more to story Facebook & others have blown this up & as usual some folks .associations looks like have jumped on bandwagon to add to their coffers . This is part on face book read what person who knows them has to say if true .
Not nessacarily in order . A call to vet or city officials might help clear up .

LOL Bobbi! thats very true ;-) hahaha Ross its only fair... You know what i think though is the bugs and other animals are getting really screwed up... the larvae thats supposed to be frozen right now are pupating ect... and i think next year we may see less bugs. which isnt a good thing! I hate mosquitoes but love fishing and every single fish species relies on them when young...

Im glad your survived Bobbi!!! that was crazy i remember that!

i got attacked by a rabid dog when i was 18.....i had to get all the shots and report into health officials for blood testing every week for 6 months...then i go revaccinated when i was at the vet college in guelph working with cattle....i'm good. send the coons. i'll take care of 'em. LOL

i saw mosquitos yesterday. (i also killed the ones i saw lol) maybe they will all hatch now and there won't be ANY next summer....one can dream!

i wouldn't be worried about the whole rabies thing, but that email (yes, email i got to my address) was very interesting....asking me if i knew someone in the sarnia or windsor area willing to foster these animals. it's truly bizarre....i hope it's just people not knowing what's going on and pushing in trying to be involved. it really should be a vet's decision on fostering out or whatever.

It's happened before & the animals & children will adapt far better than the adults & if you think this crap / signing that just went on in France is gonna do anything then I've got a breed of chicken here to sell you that all roosters have 4 drumsticks & all the hens lay 4-5 eggs a day at 3wks of age for 4 yrs never stopping for molt . Hehe . As far as Canada if facts are right we contribute 2 % to global pollution & if yu turned off every car in Canada & got rid of them it would make no difference . Just a money grab by Governments & boosted by big business .With today's WWW all the people in those conferences could of stayed home & still had a on air meeting instead of adding to their ,what's the phrase " Global Footprint " & flying , driving back & forth , including Al Gore whom I seen there clapping . Not sure if David Zuzuki was there or not . Now you can guote all the supposed facts & figures you want & very few scientists agree either but most are opinions like mine here . Yes I believe weather has changed but by cycle not by man . Don't know where man gets the audacity to think he can beat Mother Nature . We all know trees are earths air filter but here where I live they put up 100's of not needed Wynnemills & cut down all the trees old & young in there path . Then offered land owners 3' trees to plant away from power lines that will take 20 + yrs to mature & start really filtering .Go figure , my rant of the day .
Have a great one and remember despite man there will be a tomorrow , even in Gernoble I seen a documentary done that shows wild veggie gardens left behind regrowing also wolves moose ,deer wild pigs , birds , frogs ( none 2 headed ) doing well . Now time to go & clean some of my shotguns & shortin stocks so they fit my bent fingers better & get prepared for the " Zombie Apocalypse .

Just my thoughts .
