Oh Ross good to see you getting some early season fishing in. It is a bit early up here but I am going to give the Rideau River a shot for a few crappie this weekend, in between entertaining company.

Tallied up my eggs in the incubators... 2 Hovabators full plus 2 people incubating a few dozen eggs for me as well, 24 turkey eggs and 100 chicken eggs incubating so far. Collecting more eggs this week, figure I will have another 60 to 70 eggs to incubate by the end of the weekend. A "friend" lent me their incubator they were not using at the moment, to help fuel the hatching addiction, so I need to get it filled up asap.

Morning all!
eagerly awaiting the first 10 turkeys eggs to hatch....they all went into lockdown looking totally black :-) and have another pile of eggs to get put into the incubator-marans and ameraucanas and easter eggers mostly. so nice when one doesn't have to advertise to fill the incubator!
going to be a busy busy spring/summer!

i finally got a couple of hours to fuss in the greenhouse yesterday before physio. planted the tomatoes, peppers, livingstone daisies, and pansies. and ran out of dirt. lol. so hubby is tasked with 2 more bags from TSC at some point-I really like the miracle grow soil...stuck in a rut really. LOL. i'll do the rest later this week, and i noticed that the local feed store has their seed potatoes in, so i need to make sure to get some on the feed run this week.

back to work, week #2, 3 half days this week. so far so good! i think my physio guy is taking great delight in torturing me slowly and surely. but hey, i can move more easily already! and only been in physio for 3 weeks now! my left leg is getting stronger, finally, and i'm learning how to make it work again. yay! happiness all around! LOL

hope everyone has a wonderful day!

To add to the chaos on our funny farm, our litter of Maremma x Great Pyrenees arrived a couple nights ago. Seven healthy pups, 6 of which are all white and one boy with some markings like Dad.

Our baby boy is growing fast, daughter is in lacrosse and swim lessons, two foals due in the coming weeks, horses getting fitted up for race season, and I have fallen behind on segregating the Magpie and Runner ducks I want to breed this year- hopefully get that done tomorrow.

My Sister is going to take the kids tonight so Chantelle and I can have a date night! Into Toronto for dinner and the Rock lacrosse game :)

Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!
Cheers!
