What a beautiful day here. I stopped counting chicks. Glad they are headed out tonight (half of them) because i have no room left!!! My brooder plates are good for 100 chicks each and theyre full!! Awesome hatch. Still a few perking away. And a few drying off in the hatcher still. I love my sportsman!! There are a pile of mixes in the one pen and then the other pen is all pure lines....

Ah Ross panzerotti at Tony's Pizza, my favourite from when I was a kid, my parents have been going to Tony's since before they were married, 50 years ago.

Nice day here today, drying up a little bit outside. Took the winter cover off the boat.

Went for a little drive to visit KB and pick up some sunflower seeds she picked up for me.

Set a bunch of turkey and chicken eggs the last couple days hopefully will have a good hatch.

Good Morning!

This is an awesome morning. Having breakfast while reading about dinner plans! You can only do that on :PTO: !

I'm calling it. I'm changing our tires today. 20deg is just a bit too warm for winters. Time to put the all seasons back on. They can handle the little bit of snow we are going to get yet.
We'll watch an ice dance show early afternoon with our nieces, changing waterers and some spot cleaning is also due.

I've got a paddock fertilizer question. I am putting everything organic I have on the fields to help the grass grow as much as possible. But since we are on beach sand, it's going to take a whole lot more years before I get some sort of good dirt. Does anyone know some horse and chicken save fertilizing options?

Beautiful day out! Were having a bbq, steaks on the grill. Got the trailer all cleaned up and ready to go for camp season yesterday and last sunday. Put some grass seed down one more time to try to fill in the mud spots, been working on that for years ever since I got rid of my original trailer when I met Lizzie and pulled in another on the other side of the lot, its a lost cause really, embrace the mud LOL.

Sammy looks great Ross! Glad hes filling in and learning his gobble.

Panzorotties n pizzia.... Mmmmmmmmm

Congrats on all the babies Kathy!!! Thats a tonne!

I picked up a pair of dak cornish banties yesterday off of Clawton... great lil and surprisingly heavy for such small birds! Clawton is going to hook me up with a whack load of eggs to go in the incubator, I think these may end up being my new meat breed.

Well have a great day all!!!
