Good Morning!
Phew, very relieved that backward was working, had to back track to see what's going on with Lizzie. I am no I the morning thread often anymore.
Sheesh, so sorry to hear this. Best wishes for y'all and a speedy recovery for Lizzie. Sometimes the biggest challenge is the diagnosis, but sounds like that's nailed down with healing and recovery already in progress.
You're right, you're a team! Keep us posted and if there is ANYTHING I can do, I'm there.
Cheers!

Good Morning!
Hey Al, my hat off to you!
I had the light load compared to you. It was coop cleaning day here today, so the 15 pens got new shavings and the feed is filled up. Laundry is going and dishes are done. I am enjoying DW cooking dinner now.
Hope Lizzie is feeling better soon!

Good Morning!
Hi everyone!! We actually had a thundersnow last night. Severe thunderstorm warning and the wind roared in...scary wind!! Then rain, hail and horizontal snow!!! Just nasty! Hydro was threatening to go out...thankfully it didnt and it didnt get really cold....phew. horses are okay. Glad martin did all that work and got the pens nice and clean and dry before we froze again. It looks and smells amazing up there again. Everuone happy and digging around. Gave some BOSS and they went right to work churning the shavings lol.
i did manage to help a tiny bit...mostly putting new shavings in the nesting boxes....and spreading the shavings out. Not much more than that....and after the first 8 pens i needed to go lay down for a while. Sigh. Such small steps....
So al is in the sarnia newspaper!!! Lol. Its a nice story on the poultry show. The last line of the article is priceless. http://www.theobserver.ca/2017/02/12/cr ... w-visitors i am hoping the link works....
Not much planned today....
dinner is in the crockpot perking away smelling amazing already...glad i can do some things now. Makes life a bit easier for my hubby i hope!!
just need to do up some potatoes later (yum mashed potatoes). And do some walking on the treadmill and carrot some horses and do the chires later this afternoon-big day planned lol
hope everyone has a great day! Lizzie-hope you keep feeling better every day!!!

Good Morning!
Good evening and Happy Valentine's Day.
Not too much exciting today. Candled my small batch of eggs in the incubator, today was day 7... 1 Cream Legbar egg = not fertile; 7 Svart hona eggs = 7 out of 7 fertile (not from my birds); 4 Ayam cemani eggs = 4 of 4 fertile. So as long as I don't mess things up should have a few chicks in a couple weeks. Four more Svart hona eggs (not from my birds); 4 more Ayam cemani (from my birds) and 7 Serama eggs in the incubator today!!
Have a good night.
