I was just going to look into becoming a leg model. I guess I'll have to put that on the back burner for now.

The longer I keep chickens, the more I like ducks.

Owowowowow. Omg dean. That could not be 1 horse...sorry it was all 10 or so you guys have...all at once with all their pointy feet in shoes!!!! I hope its less painful than it was. You should take zombie photos when it turns green lol

I just got back (thank you poultry admin for driving me) from the surgeon appointment. Everything looks great. Nothing has moved or pulled or bent. No bone growth yet so i am still off on restricted everything....another 6 weeks. He was amazed my back is healed. I can get back in the pool gently. I should not walk any further than am (5km/day) and not every day.
Still no lifting bending twisting. But the xrays look great. He did say to please keep beig patient....this is going to take a long time to heal. Thats the hardest part honestly.
Ah well. I am allowed to be in a car but not drive yet. Thats something. Yay!!!
So. Small steps forward.
(I like good news.)

OWWW Dean! When I was a kid, a horse picked me up (with her teeth) by the top of my shoulder/collarbone, and tossed me. Nothing broken, but it was very tender for a long time. My question to you, is what became of your horse?

Broodies. I love em and hate em. But its starting to be that time of year, and there will be more to deal with.

Found one in the hay yesterday with 20 eggs, various colours, so all the girls had thought that was a good place. Pithed them all. Some were far gone, some probably viable. That's why we were short on eggs last couple weeks. Will keep an eye on that spot, but they will find another I am sure.

Chickens and me, we can't wait for spring to really be here. I am sure there will be someone set before the end of the month. Dam chickens.
