i forgot to mention, he's only 7 months old.....so just a youngun yet.... and i swear he's already grown 2 inches in height since he got food, i think he was having to really compete at the last home. he's also super super "on guard" here....LOL never been handled, and i was, after all, in his face with a flash...lol. - oh, and the chest....that's 100% crop!!!! he ate me out of house and home for 3 days! and it was -10 that morning, and he was extremely poofy....(i didn't know a bird could BE that poofy in fact, plus we had just been dusted for mites, and he wasn't too impressed at that).
i have some decent girls (with not decent barring) and i just couldn't pass up his barring...plus i just need him for a few barred rock chicks for me, and then to establish a new line of welbars, i'm really in it for the barring gene(s) he has. LOL

The really important date will be October 14th this year when we will celebrate 30 years in Canada.
We may have to make a day out of it, I am pretty sure it's going to be 50 years for us in October ! :wine:

Spotted dick with maple syrup?

Pierogies poutine? (add cheese curds n gravy)

add beer (of any type and place) and I'm in!
