HAHAHAH I caught me a silver bass sandwich yesterday for lunch. mmmmhmmmmm leftover from the night before. man they are delicious fish! all out now though. need more.
sounds like a plan Ross!
oh hey... I saw a cotton tail last night doing my perimeter check. I think its living in a pile of wood on the other side of the barn. only saw the 1 but its a good start. hopefully there are more and they make there way out to the bush. that was the first bunny I've seen here at all. it sure put a big smile on my face!
sounds like a plan Ross!

Good Morning!
Iv never seen a rabbit tracks or pellets in the bush here, lots of squirrel though. I'm stacking up brush in a few spots for them to move into though. I figure the coyotes must have cleaned them out in the past. I was told they used to be really bad around here until a group of guys started systematically removing them from one end of the county to the other. most land owners were glad to see them takin out but not all. I heard one the other night behind our place, not close to the house thankfully. I went out the next day for a few hours trying to call it out but nothing. I mostly hear a small group across the road, thats where they coyote hunters didnt get permission...

Good Morning!
Rabbits were non-existant around my place until the neighbor started raising and releasing. I see tracks in my yard every morning. All that's managed to do is bring the coyotes in even closer. Then he has the nerve to think we may have had something to do with his cat's disappearance...Teach the coyotes where they can find food and they won't be picky about what species they eat!

Good Morning!
Al- I haven't hunted much except ducks and pheasant the past year. Not a fan of deer hunting as much, also need my own land for it.. I know I'll enjoy it more that way. Soon enough.
For now, our friend we nickname the deer Hunter fills our freezer with deer. Lol.

Good Morning!
thats sooo funny Ross!
Bobbi I havent harvested anything this year. been busy and put all my effort into deer. had one great opportunity. and blew it. spent the rest of the season really bummed out and hoping he came back. I didnt see another deer here after that. turkeys are living in the bush on landlords side, I hope they stay there until the spring season opens and I will stay out of there and cross my fingers that I dont scare them away.
