I think you should get some of those and go round to Kathys to show her how they work. About a demo of 8 should help!

A demo of 4 now...lol. wind break is up. Painted with some really old barn paint. I sure hope it doesnt dry to pink lol. It might....
Lights going up in the pool area....
I gotta go rig up my crossbow support on the stand and check to make sure the stand is still attached to the tree....john from OOD has the same bow as my hubby so this cocking aid crank thingy should fit....will find out later this week.
So gorgeous outside!!! Just amazing.

I was thinking inflatable shark actually. Could have some fun with that.

Just made it out to the closest tree stand and back. Hm. I think i will be taking lunch with me hunting. Too far to walk back and forth more than once. Stand is still up and good. A couple boards repaired by hubby and put up a couple pieces to hold a rail for shooting. Looking great i will not be able to get into our style stand once my back is fused....so i will have to figure that out somehow but i think i will be able to go a couple times this fall anyways!!!

morning all! busy weekend and i have absolutely no idea where it went or how it can be over already! LOL.
leeks harvested, cleaned and to the freezer. rear bench riser installed in the pool (sounds simple...and was VERY not...LOL. thank you hubby for all the help!!!!). half the posts are up for the turkey pens. the wind break is up and painted, with some super old red barn paint which i am really hoping didn't 1) wash off in the rain this morning and/or 2) dry to pink....um. i'll check tonight. tree stand is modified and safe for use this fall, some nice prints in the dirt/corn nearby...barn is swept out, kids in the brooder pens are going to head outside on the weekend, they're getting big! incredible how fast they grow! boys are up for processing on the weekend, as well.

woke up to rain....actually woke up to the early alarm and the rain started shortly after. poured and poured and poured! more rain this morning than for most of the summer again! the corn doesn't know whether to grow or dry....
delivered 3 welsummers today, going to a good home :-) will miss them but fewer mouths to feed is good. and they'll all be very happy where they are going.

its sooooo dark in the morning now. dreading the time change too, really hate losing the evening light. glad the temps are cooler though. brussel sprouts are finishing up well, and some cabbage ready to go. let the free rangers into the garden for the left over tomatoes and they're having a great time eating them. the field corn is actually drying up nicely, won't be a bumper crop harvest by any means, but at least theres SOMETHING out there.

hope everyone has an awesome day!

Good morning everyone! Been a while since I've been on here! Hope everyone is doing well, I am not going to try to catch up as its been 6 months or more and I see I have 11, 500 post notifications!!! .. Lol

Everything is good on my end, just finished building a boat blind, currently researching labrador breeders and retrieving training in and around southern Ontario.. Our lovely boxer Lola passed away in the summer, and we are looking to add a new fuzzy buddy who will join in on our duck and goose hunting excursions...
