Al , Donna was in pool business for over 40 yrs , had her own business as well . Been thru the chlorine , bromine & now salt / chlorine systems from beginnings . Next time we're together ask what system & how to use / regulate is best for you & your pool & cheapest that works . Most of what you said is iffy & should be reworked for next year . Just a heads up . Luck
PS that table looks like a vegetarian good day hunting . Lol

Thanks Ross, you know I didnt know that was Donnas line of business. my biggest problem was the filter that came with the pool just wouldnt cut it. it was a paper filter inside the pump. I removed it when I hooked up the sand filter and recalculated all my figures. of course being in full sun dosent help chlorine at all but I got er figured for now. im definitely still learning though.

HAHAHA Veggies now there very easy to catch! ;-)

thanks man!

Large paper filters work as long as GOOD ones & you clean regularly but little ones in pump no as you found out . Eventually sand will plug up if dirty area & need replacing . Salt systems have a generater to change salt to saline in them , you can use either filter . Luck

Good afternoon just finishing up lunch, salmon sandwich, with personally caught coho salmon, will have to try the bread recipe that was posted next time for my sandwich.

I went to a little workshop on growing and caring for apple trees this morning and then picked a couple bushels of apples. Plan on planting 6 to 8 semi-dwarf apple trees in the spring.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Hey everyone!! Just got a msg that someone has some eggs for the sportsman in a week. Its way better to fill that thing and run it full so if anyone needs eggs incubated give me a pm or email!

Raining and grey out there today.
Looks like a great day to go clean waterers and sweep out the barn and maybe catch up on some work from work i didnt get done. And of course try the pool. But i have to wait just had BLTs for lunch with the best bacon EVER. I little family owned farm near granton. I have to go and get the address off the apckage and order half a pig. OMG it was amazing. Picked up my fencing and feed...and ordered our lumber to build pens. Fence can stay in the truck till it stops raining lol.

Good morning!! Having a coffee.... and going out to split some wood. Kind of muggy and hot for that kind of stuff already.... I'm also uploading pictures off the phone to hurry and send one in for the contest.

Made 247 Jalapeno poppers yesterday. Course, some for the big annual fish fry we have here, and some for the freezer, for future events, like superbowl kind of thing. They are better fresh... but just as delicious cooked from frozen. Especially deep fried. Anything deep fried it good in my books.

Well... I'm hatching something this weekend. I'm not saying, or I will be committed by some. lol. I think I'm sicker than anyone on this forum.

Heres the poppers we did yesterday. I started picking at 11am. Finished at 3:30pm. My legs/feet sure were sore.

I hear the tractor starting... so I guess thats my Q to get out there. lol.

Good aftenoon all!!!
Wow. Tons of poppers!!! Tons of work! My hot peppers are sliced and ready to go as soon as my jars are finished sterilizing. Cowboy salsa-pickled hot peppers...lol
I will give lots of them away. At least i remebered to wear gloves this year!

Nice day! Harvest moon tonight too apparently.
Still have room in the bator as of the 25th if anyone has anything needing custom hatching! I know-you all have your own incys. Lol

Headachy today from this sinus cold. Grr. Oh well. Need to start drying herbs too.
Had a swim yesterday. It went quite well actually. Felt good in any event.
Al, did i read you found poison ivy??!! Hope you didnt get it on you!!
Okay.....next up is swim then finish hot peppers and get herbs in drying and move the fencing from the truck....
Fun fun! Get to play with the tractor!!

And yep. Shirley. You are crazy. Plain and simple.
