Have a great time sandy!

no rain last night. all around us AGAIN. we only got 2.5mm all day. it poured on my way home....couldn't see the car in front of me! for about 20 seconds. lol. flooded everything. but nothing much at home. cooler but holy humid out there. so AC stays on.

63 guineas now. and 1 turkey JUST hatched...hope it makes it.
so all in all not a bad hatch really. really happy with this incubator!

hope everyone has a great day! working from home today, LOVE it. of course, computer needs to install like 50000 updates. of course.
gives me time to have breakfast.

Good morning!
Had "some" rain yesterday, but not much, just enough for everybody to try to get a mud bath after I let them out.
Not enough to make a difference at this point, the maples are so stressed they are starting t drop leaves that are literally burned to crisp.
Few youngsters from this years hatch are getting picked up this wknd, this means me creeping around in the dark tonight trying to pick the right ones, last year in a stroke of misguided brilliance I marked the birds wit a red marker? turns out you can't see that in the dark. Need something fluorescent I think.
Looking forward to dispatches from Maximus!!
Would also love to see 63 guineas hatching ;)
Have a good one!

they are great birds and you couldnt ask for better bug control especially for ticks. im just way to close to the road to keep them.

Good Saturday Morning All!

Looks like a rain day today. Got a deluge on Thursday for about 20 minutes but a nice steady day of rain would be nice.

Helping out a co-workers today at the OPHC September Show & Futurity at the Ancaster Fairground. Handing out prizes and taking money, I think I can handle that. Good was to spend the day with some good folks and beautiful horses. :cowboy:

Wow 63 guineas that's awesome!!! I love guineas, andy funky colours, if I remember correctly bvf has a few different colours of guineas.

Once they get older I will be able to hear them at my place from bvf place. lol

Busy weekend with sports, I ran a volleyball training session last night of my high school players and my daughter. Today wife is Dragon Boating today in Carleton Place, so my youngest daughter and I are going to watch her 1st race, then we are off to Ottawa for my daughter's soccer tournament. My oldest daughter is already off on a road trip to Opeongo, for a pre-season high school basketball tournament with her friend's family. The team is making the final cuts after the tournament, so hope she plays well. Then tomorrow my oldest daughter has club volleyball tryouts on Sunday.

I will almost be glad when the weekend is over and I can relax teaching. lol

Hope everyone has a good day.
