Ross, don't forget - there's always GO trains. Get on in Mississauga and meet another willing member to drive rest of distance, and back again. I love GO trains. Because I come from the east, I usually drive to Whitby then take train into TO.

Im with chick a roo....the trains are awesome...i have a bro in law lives downtown TO...when we decide to visit or have another reason to go to downtownToronto, we take the train...takes us right into the core, hotels right there...i have no phobia about driving but the trains are just so convenient...driving thru Toronto only gets aggravating if the timing sucks...getting stuck in a sea of rush hour commuters is not very pleasant at all...and yes, I know you all have other less family friendly terms for it..lol....but really, otherwise its just an ugly trip driving thru...ugly as in visually ugly....another reminder at just how people can completely destroy a landscape...

OK. Here's the deal from my point of view. I'd LOVE it if y'all (please excuse the ridiculous contraction) would come East for this thing. I'd like to host a big ol' brain-picking party at my new farm. I'm breaking out of my shell for the first time in a couple decades, and getting comfortable being around people again. BUT, I want big ol' Ross to attend even if someone has to throw him in their trunk. SOOO, better bet is to have the get together somewhere central or even just west of (*spits) Toronto. I will brave the stupid collectors on the 400 to meet Ross and Al and Shirley and Helen and and and. If Ross won't go thru TO, Barrie is out. It's going to have to be just west of TO. I'll do it if the other Easterners will LOL.
Buuut, I might just have to have a housewarming party in the summer, everyone invited, I'll feed you and put you up, you bring potluck and eggs/chicks to trade heheheheheh

um....we don't need to go through toronto to get to barrie from east ontario-we can head up cross country....
people need to update the map so we can see where everyone is! if there's more of you out east it would make sense for the fewer to travel....and i honestly think there are way more of you out east of toronto than those of us west of toronto.
