mom and older daughter front of deck
dad on right and young son on left mid
one girl pup going to new home next week looking at camera near front of deck
other girl closest still needing home-too smart for her own good-think she's working the system so no one takes her lol. (she only cuddles to me, none of the come-lookers!)
Darn, that's tempting......

Sandy i am with you. Too hot. About 1/4 of the old barn is loaded. Half the bin is totally full to the top now. Think we may finish it up tomorrow. ☺ sweating like mad!! In for lunch and out of the sun for a bit. About 20c cooler would really help right now. Got some rain this morning-big thunderstorms so its nice and humid. Lol. Didnt catch the coon yet that was in my barn. Saturday night celebration may be a stakeout with the 22....

You guys-all the puppy photos are awesome! Great looking animals!!

Good day! Too hot to do anything outside... so turning my big collection of guinea eggs into pickled eggs, lol. At least the stove is on for 15 minutes only. Babysitting, again. Told Jess she may as well leave him. Too hot for daycare today. Its still cool inside here, until tomorrow or tonight..... and hes watching fox and the hound, while I will peel the eggs.

Had the vet out to check Honey... the belgian. Green snot. So shes on a drug twice a day, have to shoot it into her mouth. Fun. She raises her head up abit, and I can't reach. I had wiped 'wipe' on them, so they were abit greasy... had to tell the girl vet twice, that they had that oily insecticide all over them, lol. Shes just a wee bit of a thing. NO fat on her at all. Shes a large animal vet... and cows are her passion. Hope she can do the job. Had one about 10 years ago, do a caesarian on a cow... and it was all she could do to lift the calf out, and sew her up. We helped lift the cow out... but the senior vet had to sew. She simply wasn't strong enough to shove the needle thru the hide.

Lost a 6 year old barred rock hen last night. She was looking abit red in the comb/wattles... so she just faded away. Poor girl.

Well, eggs just started steaming. Got to go set the timer, lol.

Good Morning,

Can't believe I walked outside @ 6am with Ava and the humidity almost knocked me right over. 29 degrees at 6am. This is not going to make for a good day today.

Ava went pee @ 11 and made it until 6am when we went out. She played up a storm for 10 minutes and apparently that justifies a huge nap!! Haha.

A bunch of things to get done outside today but not sure I can tolerate too much of this heat for too long of a period. I might work and bake today and then take a day next week to get caught up outside. Grass needs to be cut but it doesn't. You know, some sections where the weeds are 2' high but the grass is burnt. It's half burnt and half greenish in other sections. The one side of our house, the grass is completely dead. Fried. Heading towards the duck coop, the grass is fried. Won't likely get that section back either. I figure in the fall I will seed the areas and block from the flock. But no point now in this heat.

If y'all need more pictures of Ava you can just ask. I have plenty LOL!!

I hope everyone has a great time at the picnic !!! Wish I could be there :) can't wait to see pictures and / or videos. Cheers!
