CFIA Get out if my backyard

Post by Brebis » Thu Sep 22, 2016 1:28 pm

Excellent post Troy.
With everything we do in agriculture these days we have to walk a fine line between balancing what and how we want to do things and what needs to be done for the common good. I've been involved in the dairy industry for many years and the issues are the same, but overall the government staff are understanding of the issues at play and caught between a rock and a hard place too.
Thanks again for your work on our behalf.

Well that's it then.... "they" got to Troy and now he's one of "them" he's a mole in the poultry world and all our posts are being sent to government poultry spies, they know everything about Ethel, Bernice and Rusty Rooster and will use this info against us. We're on to you buddy, we've seen the X-Files, the truth is out there! XD

Thanks Troy,
When Al Dom came to Kemptville this year there was a good turn out for such short notice and it was good to see how many people were there.
We had some in the artisanal producers, on commercial Turkey Farmer and about 15-20 backyarders as well. This led to great discussions and the time ran out quickly.

Oh no! Its the dreaded "them" and "they" again. Lol thank you troy!! Its a lot of work to build things and keep them civil and friendly and what we do have today is thanks to folks that did work very hard in the past. Dealing with it is not easy-i know-i deal with other branches of thregovernment regularly....if we all do what we can and pull together maybe it can stay as good as it is-or even better.
