Re: Good Morning!
ah we made chocolate chip sunflower seed cookies. yummy. and definitely not good for my figure. oh well.
look what @poultry_admin did today!!! i have an incubation center now lol. my sportsman and hatcher and he made me custom sized shelves for my turners. its awesome!! and saves so much room over the big table that i had been using i set a full rack of turkey eggs this morning. will see if anything is viable given the temps the last week....so i start collecting chicken eggs today until next saturday and then will set those too.
nice to finally let the cats out...wow cabin fever....we were actually above zero today and melting. huge pieces of ice and snow sliding off the roof....still waiting on the starter for the tractor to be delivered....monday it looks like. so no wood cutting this weekend. whatever.
and i have to laugh...dh won the photo contest with a photo of my chickens using my camera ha ha. love it!!!
anyways off to do evening chores.....and for the record that is the closest either of us have ever been to that rooster-since he was hatched. usually all we see is his tail disappearing around the corner of the barn as he runs lol

Re: Good Morning!
i am hoping to get about 150 in my first hatch in time for mount forest spring sale....and i am also hoping to have my first pure silver and gold welbars this year too available for sale!! completely new bloodlines-created from the original founder breeds and as such unrelated to every other welbar in the world!
loving this weather today-about to head out for a walk and see how far we get...10c....what a change from last week. barn is swept out and cleaned up. starter is out of the tractor and yep it has several broken teeth and is missing a chunk off thr case too! ready for the nee starter that should arrive tomorrow. new ignition switch installed and the fingers are all crossed that the starter goes in and the thing starts....lol we shall see. i need to get some dirt from the greenhouse and plant some seeds for my sweetgrass and some herbs. but first things first....a walk in the sun!
