Re: Good Morning 2025
They are little chunks and so far docile and pleasant. I'll need to be caeful because the conditions they came from appeared not to be ideal. @Brebis can comment whenever. Happy this am, running around and doing Tigger impressions.

I’m jealous, my backyard is too small for a few lambs!Killerbunny wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 7:54 pmNew arrivals @Brebis . 2 ram lambs to help with the grass until fall.

So, are they going to be lamb chops once their grazing duties are over?

If you’re worried they might run you over when your back is turned, putting a collar with a bell on them is a good safety measure!

Re: Good Morning 2025
I confess I really like lamb. We were lucky we had and excellent local abattoir near us that meant the lambs had a quick dispatch without the long travel and waiting in cramped and stressful conditions. Sadly, most don’t have it so lucky these days since there are fewer local abattoirs now, much like the situation for poultry.
I’m sure they’ll enjoy the summer with you, plus they are good entertainment!

Re: Good Morning 2025
We have a local abattoir where I can take them morning of or I have another option with a very local chap as they will not be marketed.Brebis wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 7:27 pmI confess I really like lamb.
