Hubby was after the chippies outside. We were overrun with them!

Look how much I had to squeeze the bottle. The trap is set let's see if I catch the little gray mouse. 😂

I weighed it and there was about 29 mg minus a guess of 10 mg for the plastic bottle. Have to say I fêel like I received one of those glasses that have a huge void underneath to look bigger at a restaurant. It has no smell.

We got this on Amazon. It's cheaply made, but it was not expensive, and it was on sale, so ...
The parts don't snap together well, but despite that, it does work. You just put it on top of a 5l bucket half full of water, add some peanut butter on several spots near the top of the ladder and on the trap door part. We caught 1 or 2 mice at a time almost every day for 2 weeks. One day we caught 3. Just replace the peanut butter once it's been consumed or if there is still some remaining after one or two days of no action (they apparently like their bait fresh). Replace the water in the bucket after each catch. The instructions also recommend leaving it active after the initial round of catches, so that you can catch any offspring after they're born.

My peanut butter has been there for months. Didn't know they were fresh obcessed like me. LOL. Also I would like to inform everyone that the "Irresistable" gel bait is resistable. Einstein is still a free range mouse. 😂 I'm getting a bucket and fresh peanut butter and a water bottle set up for tonight! I had a vision of myself with a 22 in my hand aimed at the kitchen counter. Waiting for the mouse to appear. Funny how a brain comes up with such crazy ideas. Also I have had multiple opportunities in the morning to chase the mouse down and kill it as it scurried across the counter and I hesitated every time. I really don't like killing things and we used to have pet mice when we were kids, so it's feels almost like killing a pet to me. I didn't think it was a good way to start my day. My brother saw a mouse at his old house pick up his hockey stick. One wrist shot and dead mouse. No guilt whatsoever. As a matter of fact he seemed quite proud of how good his wrist shot is 😂🤣😂

Einstein update... Walked into the garage and realized I forgot the staircase...Doesn't peanut butter keep for months? Wouldn't the mouse smell it even if it's old...

Also the irresistable gel bait is resistable or Einstein hasn't figured out the way in?
