Re: Good Morning!
Not sure if what we are getting counts as good rain, at this rate it would have to go on for 3 days...
mosquitos on the other hand are thrilled and out for the party!!!

Re: Good Morning!
It's coming down at a nice steady rate here at the moment. Wish we'd fixed that leak in one of our rain barrels last night. At least the other is full again, and the veggies will get their favourite kind of water for the next while.

Provide the items ordered. We ordered in January. I think most seed companies are swamped.

Re: Good Morning!
Funny, they were really good last year, although they did warn they would be supplying Market Gardeners first, which was understandable, in the end they sent everything we ordered.
Wonder what kind of difficulties they are experiencing.

That doesn’t make me feel any better about my Vesey’s order! Everything I ordered says it’s sold out on the website, but I haven’t heard anything, yet.
And it’s not raining here. Thunderstorm in the forecast for Saturday, but I’m not holding my breath! The forecast has been changing by the hour lately...

Re: Good Morning!
It's already 26 degrees at 10:00. Forecast is for 36. I will be staying inside most of the day. There are 3 more days of this hot weather expected with no rain forecast for the following week. There are wood frogs singing this year. They haven't been here for several years. I wonder if it means that there will be more precipitation this year. Maybe they know something we don't. It would be a shame for them to hatch and then dry up in a drought. Have a good day everyone.

Re: Good Morning!
Well sold some of my boys, they are making me work 12 hour shifts now due to no RNs for hire. Can't even replace me for vacation. I sold the boys as I work nights and with the 12 hour shifts I have to have a broken sleep, I sleep in the morning, do my chores and then sleep again in the afternoon. Those little buggers were crowing every 15 to 20...... wait for it..... SECONDS. I had enough and sold 3 pair. Sooooo much quieter here, my cuckoo boy was one I sold, all young boys , just couldn't shut up.
