Re: Good Morning 2024
@Ontario Chick lost 2 of my old girls (7 & 8 yrs) very sadly. They just couldn't take it in the end. The turkeys hate it and I'm worried for them. DH is currently insulating the inside of the big coop and putting in extra fans. Fortunately the other coops are all insulated and have fans. Just fingers crossed at this point. Good luck everyone. BTW I did draw the line at AC for the big coop! We don't even have that.

@Killerbunny Sorry about your senior hens and hope your turkeys are ok
Hope we get cooler weather soon

I found an article with summertime hacks

I like the concrete bird bath in the shade idea..
I was at Alton Mills and saw this:

On the art note. MJ, @TomK s wife made me this lovely piece of stained glass. I sent her a picture of Gerald, one of my Toms and I'm thrilled with the result! I think she should be doing markets etc with these lovely pieces. SHe did 3 cute birds for me last year too.

Imagine an exotic flower smell!
I gave my friend a cutting from my grandma's night blooming cereus. They were used as a ground covering at the bottom of her hedges in Taiwan. 9 years later, it decided to blossom. The time lapse video is at the link above. She was surprised at the cost when visited this store.
