Re: Good Morning!
Good morning,
Wild turkeys under the apple tree have been replaced by a pair of unwelcome visitors who seem to arrive every day around 2PM (must be the City raccoons) send the dog to a frantic frenzy, which is fine accept that it doesn't seem to bother the raccoons at all, so yesterday I says to him..."OK we are going to go and get them... put him on a leash expecting to be dragged across the yard, but once outside my lab "borderline collie" turns in to a "pointer", poses perfectly and looks at me with a very obvious " YOU get them" look..... at that point the raccoons left, not very fast with very offended chattering. I love wildlife, but seriously sometime its a bit much

Re: Good Morning!
I must say I would much prefer the raccoons as a hat, then a possible barn visitor :)

They sure look nice in the snow though!
My old girl would have made short work of them, my new girl would run up to them and just observe wildlife at its finest. I'm sure Ross's girl would send them packing too.

Re: Good Morning!
Only one more sleep and the wonderful one gets back home. I am so excited!
Biting cold wind here about 20 km/hr and -10 but looks like sunny today at least, and we mostly don't get lake effect snow, but I am guessing WLL and lots of others are. Glad I don't live in the Von or Berry or Kinksten or George&Bay areas, they get wacked all the time. First time this year the chicken water is frozen by morning. blighters are not laying, but they will eat. I suppose I will put up with it a little longer.
