WATERER WARNING
Re: WATERER WARNING
Can someone reccomend a good waterer? The silly hens empty the bowl every day. Is there an automatic one available? I must leave town for a few days and am worried for them.

Re: WATERER WARNING
If you're even a little bit handy, I'd suggest looking for some DIY gravity-fed waterers made out of buckets on YouTube. You can order some fairly inexpensive bowl-type water cups from Amazon to install on a plastic 5-gallon bucket - they sell buckets at Home Hardware, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. - and then hang it so that the watering cups are at about the same level as a chicken's back.
watering cup example: https://www.amazon.ca/WADY-Chicken-Poul ... hdGY&psc=1. With the suspending bucket style waterer, they won't run out of water for a while and they won't knock it over.
