Morning,
Just thought I'd add to the post, minesing where I live has it's own colony of feral cats, my neighbor down the street is a large animal vet and has been feeding them, I think he traps them to give vaccines and/or snips them
and takes to farms with low cats numbers, the offspring of the original pair (has to be over 5years now I dont see the tom cat around much anymore) they're all grey/blue colour with either a white chest or white socks, we have a group of 4 at our place that the kids feed in the garage, the garage door stays open almost 24/7 for them

Awww.... he looks so nice!! Personally, I would build him a cateo... and make sure he doesn't escape. I'm pretty sure he will try and go back to his old stomping grounds. Cats can be like that. And he won't survive for sure, without teeth. Hubby's sister moved to Waterdown from out in front of the farm in a house. That cat got out and travelled 20 km back to here. Took it 6 weeks, and it had to cross #6 highway near Clappisons Corners. How he did it was short of amazing, but the homing instinct is brutally strong in cats.
