Seeing a lot less bears now, I guess they passed through, apples etc mostly gone now. They came one night and completely picked clean my tree that makes delicious apple pie and crumble... grrrr... I wonder what bear pie or crumble tastes like!
I couldn't pick those apples because they are not ready until October, they were still woody and green inside.
Stupid bears.

Ross, that's how I knew it was bears and not raccoons or deer, there was big bear booboo all over the place under the tree....

I need to make a trip down to Mennonite county in October, some of the best tasting apples I have ever had in-my-life!

Yes, bear is good to eat. We had e years ago that was a yearling that was eating out of a grain field. Delicious!
