I totally understand, it is a addiction. The only reason I own bantams is because of an auction when no one else was bidding on the cute little buggers. This is a safe place, you are among friends :)

Yes auctions are hard, I once put my hand up for 4 cows, then sat terrified on my hands praying someone else would bid. Thank goodness they did!

Ok going to try photos. First will be the little trouble maker that started me bidding.

They came from a different breeder, I wasn't able to get her flock mates but with the age difference they accept her. I think they are kinda fancy, any Wyandott breeders tell me what you think? Sorry pictures are not that good, they kept running around.

Good looking birds, nice buy, it would have been foolish not to bid on them.

I don't breed Wyandottes but I think they're gorgeous! Good on you to get the lonely little pullet some friends :D
Date and save your eggs as if you WERE going to incubate them...only eggs over 10 days old get eaten. That way, you have a "just in case" stash. HEHEHEHEHEH.TomK wrote:QR_BBPOST Really nice looking birds...great buy

Skinny Rooster you are hilarious!!
I've been suffering as well. I'm dying without ducks over here. Not so much chickens, gasp I know. But if I make it till spring it's going to only be because the best duck coop/pen is being drafted and then executed.
I have about 3 designs I'm trying to put into one for a duck-uxury hang out! And some modifications and an addition (or two) to the main coop. Oooohhh! So exciting. Although realistically it won't be spring when I get them. Well, that thought was fun while it lasted
