Kitten dumping time!!!

Post by Skinny rooster » Mon Sep 05, 2016 6:59 am

Lol, that orange boy is a lot like my girl, a little pumpkin. She was actually a rescue cat, a friend of mine bought a farm that was vacant for a year and he inherited a herd of cats! They were to be euthanized. I needed a cat and this one let me touch her with my finger so I knew I could work with her. Such a funny cat, good with the chickens and cleans up on mice.

One house we moved into they had left a cat that we didn't find for 3 days - living in the suspended ceiling. The whole house was filthy as was the poor flea ridden, half starved cat. We had Quincy for 17 years after that!

I also despise people for dumping animals.. especially cats/kittens. We have had one stray fixed... and part of our 'herd'. We tried with another, but ended up 'getting rid' of him. He fought with said above cat.. stray boy.. and sent him to the vet, ripping actual holes in his haunches. Fixing an OLDER stray Tom will help with population, if you can get a hold of it.. but it won't change his attitude.

These strays I am sure is from the next farm over... who just let cats be cats. Hate that.
