Hamilton. Traffic Stop - shotgun seized

Post by baronrenfrew » Tue Aug 02, 2016 9:54 pm

Well we have discussed firearms here before: and Sandy's q was why certain charges were laid and Ross answered it. Given that Sandy and her quest for a PAL and many related items were covered here and this story is a bit distant (in my opinion) but still worth talking about.
"Around the waterer" is for a variety of off poultry subjects; and it hasn't been used by anyone with an agenda; and a lot of potential touchy subjects: i.e. gay marriage; politics especially Trump vs Clinton; religion; and many others haven't been brought up...yet.

So I have no issue with this query in this time and place.
And: this forum has revealed that many intelligent people are here: especially folks with lots of common sense and wisdom; and folks who are tolerant of a wide variety of opinions.
You have a question that could be touchy...bring it on.

Pretty good. Got some fake shells (snap caps?) and practicing cycling. Didn't get to my one on one as its when I started to feel not well. It's on my to-do list once I am caught back up with things.

Still get out with the crossbow too. I REALLY like the crossbow.

The charges of Unauthorized Possession would mean not licenced.

I've had a shotgun for over 40 years and shot many things with it and used to win turkeys at our local shoot. Question: what is Cycling?

With a pump shot gun after shooting shell you have to slide the forearm toward you to eject shell & slide toward frt bead to " cycle" another shell into chamber . A semi does that by gas inertia or Ihad a old Brescia semi that did that with the barrel coming nack & popping it out & in . A lot a kick with that one tho. Hope helps . Luck

Yep. Done it many times. Didn't know that there was a name for it!
