@baronrenfrew Wishing you a very happy birthday!
Sorry to hear that you got rid of your birds. I hope you are able to get some more when you feel that you are able.

Re: Good Morning 2025
well happy belated birthday, Baron...nice to see you on the right side of the sod...Jan/Feb are a busy time here as almost 80 % of my extended fam has birthdays in that time, so a lot of presents and salutations...I got some day old Leghorns and Olive eggers last July when I got my meat bird chicks and the girls started to lay just before Xmas...good thing because the older bunch were on an extended leave of absence in the egg production category...lol...good thing the folks i sell eggs to understand...makes them go store bought and they come back screaming for 'real' tasting eggs about now...I ahoukd feel bad for them but not really....anyway, glad to see you are back....stay in touchbaronrenfrew wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:32 amI should also say hello to lololutsung and anyone else I haven't met here in the years i haven't checked in. Hi @baronrenfrew Happy Birthday! Hope you are able to get birds again.
I miss having chickens but realize that I dont have the energy I used to. Also I'm worried about AI making them sick if I let them free range. I feel guilty keeping them locked in a cage. They seem to love digging all over the house and eating bugs and fresh greens. I really wanted to give buckeyes a try but have never owned any. I feel like we have a similar personality so we will get along great
