Aww sorry Kenya. I see turkey vultures here every day and I've honestly never considered them a threat. I also have ravens and haven't had an issue with them although the chickens do alert to them so maybe they know better than me. I'm still only letting chickens out when I'm able to stay with them but that is quickly becoming a pain! It may be time to invest in a larger enclosure but I so hate the thought of that.

Good morning,
Great day for organizing closets ;)
am I the only one putting away summer clothes and sandals that didn't get worn at all last summer?
must be a side benefit of never going out, no need for clothes ?
Leaf colours are pretty spectacular this year, glad they are I'm my back yard, no need to drive anywhere to admire the colours :)
Never stop being grateful about where we live :)

Much excitment this am. OPP all over and a cannabis grow op was busted a couple of houses away. 5 greenhouses. This is the 4th in our area so far.
Last day to vote for pic of he month too - where did September go?

Very sorry Kenya! Everytime I see them circling I'm out on the grass watching them leave. They are huge birds and silkies - God love them - aren't that bright. Hard to loose a little one.

The thing in OZ used to be "grow your own dope, plant a POME" (prisoner of mother england).

Saw it on the News yesterday, the greenhouses weren't used and there was 1KG of marihuana on premisses, hardly worth a raid.
Hard not think that the greenhouses used to grow marihuana would be better used to grow food.

Ontario Chick, I agree with you. So sad that those greenhouses couldn't have been used for food :(.
