Lots of folks have house chickens! Not such bad thing for you or the hen

Alas, I found the hen dead this morning. Yesterday, I did notice that she did not eat or drink very much.
She was from my May 2018 hatch, and was a barred rock-Cochin and whatever mix.
By bringing her in the house, I think we just delayed the inevitable. Compared to her "siblings", she did not have the constitution to get through a moult at this time of year. Even the older hens have gotten through a moult.
It is a sad day.
Thanks everyone, for listening and for your advice.
Kenya - I did not feel comfortable putting her with Anna the Cochin, since Anna is not fenced in, in the barn, and has a limited platform area. They probably would have fought and one of them would have gotten hurt. If this happens again, I would look for a buddy hen.

Sometimes there's just nothing you can do but at least you tried.
