Sorry KB. It's in the UK...working farms that have "jobs" for people with dementia to complete weekly. My dad would have really benefitted from something like this. My mom fought with him to get him to go to a weekly "day program" hosted by a local seniors home. My dad HATED it. It was really more for my mom to have a break than it was for my dad. It got so bad that she asked if I could leave work and take him there each week. I tried. He would beg me not to make him go. So we ended up driving around for 3 hours looking at farms or construction sites
. His two favorite things. As a society here in North America we need to get so much better at assisting our elderly to live a fulfilling life.

couldn't agree more @Happy . Also, it is so much more helpful if the family member who is taking on the care of their elderly parents has support from other siblings.
