Enjoy my free time?!

Bottom line my parents are in their mid 80’s and my mom is hard of hearing so a fox had an easy time last summer while I was away at work. Can’t count on them to lock up as they did. Have to make a 24/7 coop yard that I don’t need to lock at night as I work most evenings. Might as well make a pheasant yard as that’s my favourite of birds to keep. And Carla wants peafowl - so this is really a reboot.
There’s a massive to do list outside of that - including brooder setup in the barn - the smell and dust in the house is just too much. Actually plan a brooder room in the basement with “one way” ventilation so air goes in the room then outdoors. Thats the only sensible setup to manage if the power goes out (or back up batteries/generator).
Not to mention all the rest that I should do so I can really enjoy living here.
