Wow! Christmas has come so fast this year. My husband started his Christmas holidays yesterday, so we went to town to get the last few items needed. I really don't care for going to town this time of year, but we did. Now lots of work to get done. We have such a large family with kids and grandkids. The family just keeps getting bigger. I have all the gifts and cards still to do. We go to my son's house to celebrate Christmas for the past few years. They started having it at their house to make it easier for me. This year I only have to make the stuffing and gravy. I cook our own turkey at home on Christmas Day, so I get the stuffing and gravy done the day before. I love the stuffing made right inside the turkey.
Are you all ready for Christmas? What are your plans?

Re: 3 more sleeps
We have hubby's oldest and his wife and kids coming to spend the night Christmas Eve . Then Christmas day we open presents, have a huge feast of a breakfast (eggs, waffles, bacon, fruit and potatoe bread) and then head to my brother's for turkey supper with my mom and my 2 brothers and their families. I'm wrapping tonight, baking tomorrow and then working Christmas Eve.

We go back and forth to my brother and sister in law's place. We have breakfast with just us and the kids. Egg nog French toast..yum! Then home so I can take care of the critters. Then back for a fancy dinner....I like the breakfast better

Re: 3 more sleeps
2 more for most but still three for us here...all my clan is coming on boxing day...everyone contributes something to the meal, the host, and that's often us, supplies the bird, stuffing and taters...the rest is somehow divined via text, phone and emails...I just make sure the homefire is up and warming the house....oh, and i do the cleanup...seems fair to me...I can cook, and cook well, but MJ is soooo much better and the girls take after their mom, which is a good thing...lol...looking forward to getting all my family under one roof again....that said, I want to wish all you fine folk a very merry Christmas ...hoping that family and friends bring joy to your heart...Tom
