For the people in the Ottawa area, just in case you haven't been checking the events calendar and wanted to take in a poultry show. This weekend is the Perth fair, it's a smaller fair than some of the others but don't let that stop you, based on past years they have a really good poultry show, usually you will find a good number of birds and also good quality birds at this fair.
Also if you were thinking about taking in the Shawville fair on the Quebec side, they also have a poultry and rabbit show. The barn is located however in the midway section and not with the other barns so careful not to miss it.

Re: Shows in the Ottawa area.
Perth Fair is very nice and the poultry/pigeon people very friendly. When we started out in chickens we went there and picked the brains of a couple of very nice judges. Recommend it!
