Re: who says peacocks can't fly?
I can only assume that they were going to fly first class and the turkey was going to have it's own "pod" ?
Last time I flew to Vancouver, I was wondering why my throat felt scratchy, but chalked it up to the "recycled " air quality, until we were disembarking and I realized that the young woman one seat over had a cat in a carrier at her feet.
I am not violently allergic to cats, but since nobody asked me if there would be an issue I can only pity anybody with animal allergies on an extended trip.
Somehow consideration for others seems to have died out at the same time as common sense has disappeared.

Exactly OC, no consideration for others. Most of the people who claim the animal is for support, were allowed to hold the animal on their lap. Even the reporter held the pig on her lap. The rights of the individual are now considered over the rights of the public, case in point a service snake or service tarantula... really... I think that might panic many others on the plane. Interesting enough one of the strongest backlash to this is coming from groups representing people with mental health issues. They know the abuse may eventually prevent real sufferers from having their true service animals from being allowed on.
There is also discrimination with regards to pets, I was going through some stress but they wouldn't allow my service cow "Buttercup" or my pet skunk "Mr Smelly Bum" onto the plane with me!

And perhaps they should not be using public transportation.KimChick wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 5:04 pmBoy, if a person cannot use public transportation without their emotional support animal (if it is allowed) then they should, at the very least, keep the said animal on their person, in a bag, or on a leash, etc. Because that animal will not give anyone else emotional support (quite possibly the opposite) if it is allowed to wander within the confines of the public transport.
That being said, some people do the strangest things just to be noticed.
I just saw a segment about this on CTV News! The comments regarding it were really good, e.g. Booking a space in the coach section for an emotional support elephant. Perfect hyperbole.

Well its too bad someone always has to spoil it for everyone else, and by this I mean other people with support animals who are real. Stupid reporter as well, I mean really a pig. Most people are honest but you will always get idiots who cause the powers that be to make you get a licence to prove you are what you say you are. Case in point wheelchair parking permits.
