Silly silkies

Post by kenya » Tue Jan 02, 2018 7:03 am

So my silkies have decided this weather is PERFECT for hatching eggs and 3 (so far) have gone broodie. I guess if the weather isn't nice enough to go outside you may as well hatch some eggs.

With Silkies all weather is a perfect time to hatch eggs. I had one that would lay only three or four eggs and suddenly be like, "hey come on, look at all this work I've done, time to hatch"!

I hope so!
I have 2 chickens in the bathroom, one in the kitchen and 3 in the basement. They were all showing signs of being too cold.
