My favorite rooster is one of the three Ameraucana chicks that I bought in March. I thought it was probably going to be a male because it was the only one that had a comb. A week later there was a little pink in its comb so I figure it would be a boy. Its the red one with a blue bum lol. After all, the chicken gremlins would neeever allow all three chicks to be female right!!! He is my favorite because he is never mean, treats his little sisters well, is friendly but most of all every morning for the last week, he gets up with the other roosters and instead of making all that noise crowing, he flies over to the nest where he snuggles in and lays a nice little green egg. Lol
