winter "blahs": any cabin fever yet?

Summer blahs is when my cabin fever kicks in. I struggle in the summer and thrive late fall and throughout winter. Dread spring because summer is next! Only get through summer because I know winter is waiting. Except this year.

However this slushy mucky slippery mud swampy crap is getting on my nerves quickly. Either freeze or dry up. Pick one. Grrrr!

Turns out my rooster is quite the wimp and if he doesnt change his ways he'll get cabin fever. Yesterday I got tired of removing him from nesting boxes so I scooted him out onto the snow ... He finally managed to be with his flock mid afternoon. Jeesh! Grow a set ..its mud!
