Hey!... It's christmas and my 13 barred rock girls have been growing and layin for the past almost two months...and in the last few weeks its around 10 maybe 11 eggs per day...pretty good, huh?... Then this week, a couple of days its been 12. And voila!!!!...today on christmas day..13!!!!!!!!!!....damn near fell off my feet...gawd, i have come to love having chickens.....just sayin'... :iheartpto:

They will only get better! (You'll know when you can't close the egg cartons). Gotta love eggs. Later, don't forget to store some for when they moult and you get the egg drought.

Sigh, I miss my barred rocks, I know now why people like them so much. I keep barred bantams to remind me of my girls. Such a good breed.
