FIRST ANNUAL PTO PIKNIK WEEKEND-JULY 23!!!!

So there was a decent little group of poultry folk and spouses: the ninja's (redninja and chicken ninja) , Jimw, Dave & Dawn, Killerbunny and hubby, Of course our host WWW and hubby and mother, kdms and hubby and kids, and a few more (I'm bad with names, and most folks I know and will remember by matching a few faces with names).

I only got two decent pics given the sun location.
We were thoroughly entertained: 1. By two little blondes who fed the begging chickens as much as they ate themselves. One who later pretended to be a duck and spent the eve in the pool.
2. By the three toms who insisted in a never ending dance-off around the campsite.
3. And by the general mayhem of free range birds being themselves. One rooster even went into the house to escape his persuers. We were given "the eye" by numerous geese who insisted on inspecting us several times. And there's the cockeral who learned that taco chips taste good.

Lots of fun by country folk with too much food.
Thanks WWW and good to meet you all. Baron
P.s. Please post more pics

And considering that most PTO members cover an area of North Bay to Ottawa to Niagara Falls to Sarnia: that's really good considering that's the same as Amsterdam to Munster to Zurich to Paris covering only 6 countries in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, and Luxembourg).

 :sSig_number1: :HappyDance:

So where should the next Piknik be where I can meet you southern folk?

OK, NOW it's toast/thesis/TLDR time! First, I would like to thank PoultryAdmin (Martin) and WLLady (Kathy) for this board. Without a place online to go, this would never have happened! Also TheGawd (AL) and anyone else who helps! Second, I would like to thank Maximus (Sandy) for planting the seed of get-together. If it wasn't for chickens, I would be a raging alcoholic LOL, and if it wasn't for the members of this board, my birds would all probably be either dead, or production leghorns or BOTH  so meeting some of you was way past due!
Just a small correction to BaronRenfrew's post--Carol is not related to either of us, she's a friend of mine, and actually Richard, she and I are quite close in age :D I joke that I keep her around because Richard makes me look like an old, broken down woman, but Carol makes me look like I'm forty again LMAO
And last but not least, thank you to ALL the members of this board, past and present, and friends old and new. Thank you enablers, and wisdom sharers! And no, I am not drunk, I don't think any of us were bored enough for that, thank goodness--boredom was something I was worried about. I am not used to entertaining guests, nor generally much of a conversationalist believe it or not :D . I hope to meet you all at PTO Piknik 2017, if not before!

I got a few pictures, not great ones, but I'll see if I can upload. Unfortunately, the only video I got was one I got by accident, of my lap, while Gabriellas Dad was hollering at her not to pet the pigs. I *MAY* be hopeless with a camera :/
I think Jaye's partner got some pics?
Oh, and Killerbunny, you missed the best show of all--the duck who's nest was found under garbage mountain, has been in a dog carrier in the milkhouse. Well, she is hatching like popcorn right now, about 10 babies out by 11 PM and more on the way. Wanna duckling? ;)
Pictures up next.
