When we lived in Orillia someone remarked on the nice way everyone had a large boulder in the front garden with plants around it for decoration. Fell about laughing because nobody could move these rocks they were so big.

Rocks? You call that a rock? Pfffttt!
I've dug out rocks when ploughing, 50hp John Deere could pick it up, and the front tires would go flat. I could move forward but couldn't steer. Had to put her down to turn the wheel.

Just try breaking garden in the canadian shield....my grandparents resorted to dynamite....that was a long time ago. don't worry, we'll be safe from 500 meters away in a canoe in the middle of the lake....LOL.
i spent many spring hours rock picking-the hard way. walking along beside the trailer, pick and throw and pick and throw. and i wonder why i have a bad back now...hm....money sucked, but when you are 11 years old and looking for some way to get some money splitting wood and picking rocks isn't such a bad deal.....

If you ever drive from Bancroft to Pembroke, detour through Quadeville and you'll see rock walls that rival Scotland.

Sooooo..it seemed like a good day to till up the new garden space that I ploughed last week...clever idea was to put the blade on the 3ph and smooth out the furrows to make it easier running for the rear time tiller...seems reasonable right?...the blade caught this &%$%#%@&$ ...got it out, but man what a job...third one so far....
