Looking for the fence guy

Have a novel idea for a piece of equipment? Or a re-purpose of an old piece of equipment?

Looking for the fence guy

Post by SarniaTricia » Tue Mar 08, 2016 7:05 pm

Back in the old PSO days... There was a guy that sold wholesale fencing... Just curious if he made the migration?

If so, please PM or just respond.
I'm looking for fence for my chicken tractor and want something sturdier than chicken wire and don't want to break the bank.

Thanks
Patricia

There's a fence guy?... Ever notice that every item in your house these days has become a boutique item?..i liked it better in the old days when you could get everything you needed at Sears or Woolworths..lol..from long underwear to a snowblower to, yes, a roll of decent quality reasonably priced fencing...i bet if you looked hard enough you could probably find a boutique store or website specializing in all the different types of fencing staples...damn, i'm old

Hey back at you!
I was happy to get back with it... Not on the farm, but Sib has been nice enough to rent me some space for meat chickens for the summer.....

TomK - yes... miss that, but progress (either positive or negative) happens. :)

There was someone who sold fencing, he worked for a company that made or distributed the fence to TSC and other type of stores. He would sell to PSO members at a good price; slightly less than TSC.
I have a week or so until the wooden frame portion of the tractor is ready.... then I may have to buy it retail... GGgggrrrr
I have used as much scrap/salvage wood as I can get..lol... I'll make a real nice post to share with everyone when I am done.

Good to be back.
Patricia

SarniaTricia....true enough...funny how people have come to think the term progress means for the better ...when all it means is moving ahead....doesn't mean that the moving ahead won't take you over a cliff
