Last year one of my automatic turner motors bit the dust, and somebody on PSO was going to order some extra, with a possibility of getting one for me?
Was it JimW?
I have a problem of a) keeping piece of nonfunctional equipment, and b) paying for replacement almost as much as cost of the whole thing.
No Al, I don't know how to build one ;)

motor out of bbq rotisserie? princess auto sells just the motors... might not be the same rpm but if you check your rpm on the broken one you could match it up but really they are all slow so it wont matter much... some are much slower than others. then just replace the motor only... polarity dosent even matter on these motors. PA sells them for a couple bucks.

OC,

I did order one last year, I just don't remember if I did end up ordering an extra one or not. I will have to go and check.

I know Berry Hill sells them, but the price is tiny bit insane, at $ 50 + tax + shipping, I would be well on my way to a new turner, which I don't really want, and the free shipping is only after you have spend $ 100
Will check out digikey.

Must have been posting at the same time Jim, would be great if you have an extra, if not, where did you order it from?

OC I think I have a spare one I got off ebay last year. I'll have a search for it.

OC,

I got mine from the Incubator Warehouse in the US and had it shipped to my US Mailbox. The motor from Incubator Warehouse costs $10 US.

I checked I do have an extra unused motor, I just have to test to make sure the motors in my 2 turners are working okay.
