Nest boxes

Have a novel idea for a piece of equipment? Or a re-purpose of an old piece of equipment?

11 bantam boxes, 5 duck boxes but the ducks have a lot of huts where they lay. Doesn't sound like a lot untill you have to store them lol

Awesome! They only need curtains and they are finished ;-)
But, Seriously- I've read that the chickens appreciate as much privacy as possible.

I saw curtains ... maybe on the chicken chick? They were adorable. : ) I considered them because my boxes face the bright south windows, but I'm not sure the girls care.
I love the farm name stencil on there. : )

My nest boxes are due for a re-build and I do plan to put curtains on them. Right now mine have very tall sides and fronts and the hens seem to like hunkering down in them.
