That is impressive, now with the chicks in it you can really see the actual size of the condos.
I see you have smaller feeders on the inside to start with, very smart.

Yes, I've been slowly moving them towards to outside troughs, I might have to get some marbles for the water to draw their attention, most have caught onto the feed troughOntario Chick wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 9:24 amThat is impressive, now with the chicks in it you can really see the actual size of the condos.

I just have one question. What does your wife think of you having the ability to house so many chicks!? Lol
It looks awesome!

All of that looks really neat! Looking at the last picture with the chicks - will that accommodate them up to 4 weeks when they get their feathers? Or do you have to move them to another part of the condo?

She thinks the same as everyone else's spouse's on here think. I just put a deppsit down for the building of a new prefab coop, excited but also worried that I won't be on time and these young birds will have to be evicted as I won't have anywhere to house them, we've disconnected the hydro from the old coop and walls torn out so that's a last resort option.

There's enough head room in hoping to extend it to 8wks, moving them down as more room is needed, I have 2 of these so I can renovate the other if I start running out of floor space, I have 8 dozen black copper maran eggs in the incubator, so new tenets move in in 14 days, it'll be cozy that's for sure

That's awesome, and looks great! Seems a lot more efficient than my plastic tub and cardboard box system
Though if I ever had 200 chicks at once, I'm sure I would be evicted to the barn

Has enough trough space for 20-24 chicks to eat at once (per side), trouble is it's too deep to catch them lol
