Gorgeous! Love that you used leftover lumber. Hoping to soon fill half my barn with similar breeding cages :)

Just curious because breeding chickens "on purpose" is new to me how many birds would go each cage? Thanks

In mine I keep two, hen and rooster. Some keep trios (one male two females) or a quad (one male three females) depends on how many chicks you want I guess

those are AWESOME pens man! pretty jealous! what are the dimensions? 8' long, 6' high and each pen 2x2x4'? take a piece of plywood long and wide enough to cover your feed n water, put 2 small eye hooks just slightly opened in the edge of the plywood and just hook it on the wire on an angle. then you wont have to worry about contamination anymore.

Yes sir those are the dimensions, thanks I appreciate it. I will be building more forsure that idea sounds good I'll try it, it's becoming a real pain lol
