Just set a broody hatch!

Post by Fairsing farm » Tue Mar 29, 2016 6:52 am

I lent a black silkie broody to a coworker who wanted to let her 7 year old daughter experience hatching chicks. We just set 3 buff and 3 cuckoo silkie eggs on Saturday.

So should hatch the weekend before mount forest!

Hoping they have a good hatch

They are the best, I'm sure the kids will enjoy with no problems of the hydro going out.

We had quite a bit of drama during the hatch. One of the chicks actually dried to the Brody's leg and was stuck there! Then the same chick a day later got stuck tangled up on one of the Brody's feathers. My coworker managed to recur the chick thank goodness!
