Thanks everyone, but sometimes we just have to work with what we have and hope for the best.
I value all of this input.

So I have a broodie in the maternity pen, about a week into things. I let her out once a day while I milk. This morning, when I got her out of there, she had a broken egg stuck to her breast, about half empty. I put her down and checked the other eggs. Most were covered in yolk/white. I took the wet cloth for wiping the goats bags and cleaned them up best I could, put them back and put her back.

Can anyone tell me, is this likely to kill the other eggs? She is only a week in and I could get some other eggs. Any advice?

I have had the same thing happen, wiped them off and they were OK. Hope someone else can help here.

#87 hatched all of the 7 eggs I let her keep yesterday. SHe has them out this pm and I hope they make it. They are a touch too adventurous!

So, my broody that hatched a chick about 6 1/2 weeks ago, has decided she’s going to try again! I let her hatch hoping it would end the matter, and here I am again!...I think I’ll have to try to break her this time.
I put a frozen water bottle under her last night thinking that she would decide to leave the nest, but I think she more accepted the challenge of seeing if she could warm it up enough to hatch. :sAng_banghead:

So, it appears that you have a very motivated broody hen. Frozen water bottles may work for some broody hens who are just thinking about it, but it sounds like your hen not just thinking about it any more.
If you don't want to let the broodiness run it's course, or speeding it up a bit by moving her off the nest and removing any eggs under her daily, you can put her in a dog crate or other with wire bottom cage with cover from weather, feed and water. If possible, locate her housing in with general population, so that re-integration will be as seamless as possible.
