I sorted onions in that stall last fall, missed that one. I will have her in that stall for a few days, let her and the chicks be together for a few days without have in g to fend off others etc. Feed them a couple boiled eggs a day. Just whack them in half with a table knife and give it to them shell and all. In a few days, I will leave the stall open and she can take them out when she wants. Seems to really cut down on the early mortality since I have been doing that.

Out in the sunshine today. Rained last night, so learning to pull worms out of the ground and then tug of wars between chicks. Stuff like that. I love it.

Also, note the waterpail with board floating. I have lost more than one chick like that, this gives them maybe a little chance anyway.
