Well Honey was up and running around an hour after I found her. As soon as she warmed up and dried out she was fine. I didn’t want to risk Little rejecting her so decided to get them back together ASAP. The poor thing had dried food stuck all over her. I didn’t want to bath her and put her through even more so I tried cleaning as much off as I could and taking her back to Little. She chased her away! I had to rescue the poor thing and bring her back inside to wash and dry again before Little would accept her back. She’s back to being a little fuzzy butt now.
This is her after being warmed up and dried. Just before I tried to clean her up.

Poor wee thing. I feel so bad about what happened to her. Totally my fault.

AT least she's OK. I guess you have another house chicken!

Little probably didn't recognize her , or didn't want to. Until she was back to her pretty little self, then she wanted her.

Oh my, poor little thing. I'm glad you found her and all turned out ok! Don't feel too bad, I've had full grown chickens manage to flip buckets and crates onto themselves. One was stuck under a bucket outside for at least two days because of my inattention. He survived, but now I check under anything upside down, even if I know I put it there that way

Here comes the combs! So far only 2 confirmed cockerels. But that number is still fluid in my mind. I’m not counting my pullets before they pop. Little owes me since last year she gave me 5 boys.
