Peepers today!
Two hens went broody at the same time and I got some easter eggs from a friend. Hatched today. Buffy has six, Duke has four. I do love my broodies. Peachy should have some in about two weeks.
And why do I call her Duke you ask? Well, her grandmother was Freedom, because she refused to go in the coop for the first two months we had her. And I lived in BC near a group of Doukabors, and there was a group of them called the Sons of Freedom. Needed a name and that one worked.
